The Sunshine Award
The Sunshine Award is Florida FCCLA’s premier chapter recognition for chapters that go above and beyond in community engagement, career preparation, and leadership development. Throughout the school year, participating chapters will work toward completing 26 activities that challenge members to grow their chapter, serve their communities, develop leadership skills, participate in FCCLA opportunities, and strengthen connections across Florida. Each participating school and adviser will receive an individual monday.com Board to track progress, submit required documentation and evidence, and stay organized throughout the year. Chapters that successfully complete all requirements and submit their evidence by March 1 will be recognized at the Florida FCCLA State Leadership Conference and receive a Sunshine Award banner.
